Heritage Farm Winery
Just a few kilometres east of Strathmerton on the Murray Valley Highway is Heritage Farm, a winery that has it all and more.
Your hosts offer a warm welcome to all the district visitors and ask them to spend an hour or two tasting their superb wines - and there are many varieties that are very reasonable priced.
The winery is open seven days a week - rain, hail or shine - make it a must when you are holidaying with us in the Cobram district.
Monichino’s Winery
Monichino's Winery is located at Katunga, which are known in the area for their unique wine taste. Monichino’s Winery ‘was established by Carlo and Margaret Monichino in 1962 and today comprises approximately 20 hectares. Their son in law Pat is managing the vineyard with particular attention to producing low yield by heavy pruning for high quality grape material.
Grape varieties grown include - Gewurtztraminer, Chardonnay, Rhine Riesling, Semillon, Sauvignon, Blanc, White Frontignac, Orange Muscat, Lexia, Brown Frontignac, Tinta Madeira, Cabernet Sauvignon.
The winery was commercially opened in 1972. The complex is very unique and of a high standard with ample refrigeration for controlled fermentation, particularly for white wines.
The winery produces quite a range of wines, winning awards consistently.’ Come enjoy their wines and see what they are all about.
The Big Strawberry
With all the taste testing at the wineries, nothing goes better then some big strawberries freshly picked and prepared for your enjoyment. A supplier for stores and restaurants shows their product quality and status in the area making this location a must stop and try location. A drop by the Big Strawberry, which produces basically anything you could think of using strawberries, would increase the winery tour experience.

Again there are limited spots and we are currently organising a set menu. If you have any dietary requirements please let us know and we will arrange something for you. Wine and Dine as we raise valuable dollars for a very worthy cause the "Royal Childrens Hospital". There will be lots of motor enthuiasts to mingle with and we may be organising a trivia night (if time permits)
